Bobby’s directorial latest Telugu offering Jai Lava Kusa has taken box office by storm. Being year’s much awaited movie of superstar Jr NTR, it has been released with massive hype among fans as well as audience and as expected reported excellent opening business across the country. Everyone liked the movie and showing thumbs up for it.
Jai Lava Kusa has received positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers, which have boosted up its excitement level and attracting more audience toward theaters. Fans of Jr NTR are showing immense craze for the movie and creating huge buzz about it on social media.
As per critics, this action-drama Jai Lava Kusa has all the ingredients that are required for a family entertainer. Also all the stars have given wonderful performances and are being praised by viewers. Not only in India, but from overseas audience too, it is getting overwhelmed response.
On the opening day, Jai Lava Kusa recorded almost 90% of occupancy across Telugu states and did the business of 21.91 crores and emerged as biggest opener of the year so far in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. From USA, it reported the business of 4.76 crores total on Wednesday and Thursday.
On the next day i.e. Friday, on a strong note Jai Lava Kusa grossed the business of 9.10 crores (6.20 crores distributor’s share) from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. From Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and rest of India, it minted the amount of 4 crores, 0.55 crore and 1.40 crore gross respectively.
From overseas market too, it reported excellent performance and garnered the business of around 10 crores. With this, second day collection of Jai Lava Kusa has become 25.05 crores and raised it’s 2 days worldwide total to 72.30 crores gross.
So far, the collections indicate that this Telugu film is off to a great start not just in Telugu states, but also cities like Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai. Though the complete collection is yet to be revealed, here is everything that we know so far. The film released on September 21 and also stars Rashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas in pivotal roles.
