Much-delayed film Jagga Jasoos finally released on this Friday. UTV Motion Pictures’ Jagga Jasoos is now facing abrupt drops in its business graph. Being Ranbir Kapoor – Katrina Kaif starrer and highly promoted, the movie was released with good excitement of fans and as expected registered fair opening business of box office across India. The film received good reviews from the audience as well as critics.

Jagga Jasoos 5th Day Collection

This was the reason, it registered quite good business in the opening weekend. As always Ranbir Kapoor has stolen the show with his entertaining performance but still the movie seems failed to maintain the pace. Also, Audience found it interesting and loved the chemistry between Ranbir and Katrina. The movie gained good word of mouth and diverted major segment toward itself despite having new American offering War For The Planet Of The Apes in opposite.

Over the opening weekend, Anurag Basu’s directorial Jagga Jasoos recorded more than 35% of occupancy on 1800 screens across India and raked the business of 33.17 crores, that was included 8.57 crores of Friday, 11.53 crores of Saturday and 13.07 crores of Sunday. With this, it has emerged as the seventh highest opener of the year so far in Hindi cinema and 9th highest of Ranbir’s career.

Now Ranbir-Katrina starrer this musical adventure romantic comedy drama is running in weekdays and witnessing lesser audience than before. On Monday, the movie faced almost 53% of drop than Friday and added the amount of 4.05 crores to its account. Then on Tuesday, it received more drop and minted the amount of 3.48 crores to make its 5 days total collection as 40.70crores on domestic box office.

The film needs to remain stable at the box office to earn good lifetime collections. Jagga Jasoos is an adventurous drama where Ranbir’s character is on the lookout for his missing father. Backed by Disney and Picture Shuru Productions.
