The statement cannot be denied that, Shahrukh Khan’s much hyped latest offering Jab Harry Met Sejal is not getting much response at box office. The movie had massive pre-release hype among audience, also it received positive reviews from most of the critics. Everyone praising the acting of SRK as both the characters in the movie. Despite all these, it is not showing any impressive performance on box office.

Jab Harry Met Sejal 5th Day Collection

The supporters are giving many justifications on this, but the actual reason is the absence of regular ingredients like music, romance etc in it. With 15.25 cr, Jab Harry Met Sejal registered the fourth highest opening collection of 2017 so far. It has also emerged as fifth highest opening weekend grosser with total business of 45.75 cr, that includes 15.25 cr of Friday, 15 cr of Saturday and 15.50 cr of Sunday.

Now the movie has entered in weekdays and unfortunately witnessing very low response of audience. On Monday it faced more than 60% of drop in its business and minted the amount of 7.15 cr as its 4th day collection across 3200 screens of India. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it reported almost similar response and added slightly lesser amount of 2.90 cr as its 5th day collection. After 5 days, total domestic collection of Jab Harry Met Sejal is recorded as 55.80 cr.

Starring Shah Rukh Khan as ‘Harinder Singh Nehra’ aka ‘Harry’ and Anushka Sharma as ‘Sejal Jhaveri’, Imtiaz Ali’s Jab Harry met Sejal traces the adventurous escapades of two strangers, Harry and Sejal over 6 countries taking 1 lost ring. SRK essays the role of a Punjabi tour guide, while Anushka plays a Gujarati girl in search of her engagement ring in Europe.

Jab Harry Met Sejal marks Shah Rukh Khan’s third collaboration with Anushka Sharma after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2002). The film has been extensively shot in Prague, Amsterdam, Vienna, Lisbon, Budapest and Punjab.
