Jab Harry Met Sejal 4th Day Collection, SRK’s Film Remains Low on Monday

After getting released on an enormous buzz, superstar Shahrukh Khan starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal remained almost flat over the weekend. Due to mixed reviews of critics, the performance of year’s highly awaited movie got affected and witnessed lesser footfalls in theaters than expected. Although most of the viewers have reacted in favor of Jab Harry Met Sejal but some critics have not found it up to the mark.

As a result, it got failed to take effective jump in the opening weekend. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Jab Harry Met Sejal recorded 45% of occupancy across the country and did the business of 15.25 crores from 3200 screens. Which is good enough but lower than the mark that suits for superstar badge. As a result, the weekend collections of the film are now amongst the lowest ever for Shah Rukh Khan, ever since he scored his first century with Ra-One.

On Saturday, despite being weekend Jab Harry Met Sejal remained flat and minted the amount of 15 crores. On the next day i.e. Sunday, with slight jump of and raked the business of 15.50 crores made it’s opening weekend total collection as 45.75 crores at domestic box office. With this, Jab Harry Met Sejal has registered the ninth highest opening weekend of Shahrukh Khan‘s career so far after his 2011’s Don 2 (48.39 crores).

But unfortunately on Monday instead of SRK-Anushka’s romantic drama, family audience got diverted towards family entertainer Mubarakan. As a result, Jab Harry Met Sejal recorded considerable drop in footfalls and estimated to collect the amount of 7.15 crores. With this, it’s total collection is likely to become 52.90 crores after 4 days of release.

Next week, the film will face competition at the box office from Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jab Harry met Sejal is directed by Imtiaz Ali.
