The much-awaited erotic thriller of filmmaker Vishal Pandya, Hate Story 4 has completed its one week journey at the box office on a decent note. Despite a good pre-release buzz, the movie opened to a slow note and got failed to take a considerable jump over the weekend due to mixed reactions from critics as well as the audience.
In the opening weekend, director Vishal Pandya’s this recent venture witnessed constant growth in it’s business graph and did a decent business of 14.66 crores, which was including 3.76 crores of Friday, 4.19 crores of Saturday and 4.62 crores of Sunday in India.
Then in weekdays, asusual Hate Story 4 recorded lesser footfalls in theaters than earlier due to normal working days. On Monday with around 40% of drop it minted the amount of 2.09 crores. By remaining steady, it collected the amount of 2.10 crores on Tuesday and 1.85 crore on Wednesday.
On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, Hate Story 4 faced more drop and raked the business of 1.43 crores. With this, total first week collection of the movie has become 20.04 crores on domestic box office. Hate Story 4 is facing a competition with Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which is doing tremendous at the box office.
Apart from SKTKS, Dil Juunglee and 3 Storeys are also running in the theatres. This week Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz’s Raid will be releasing. So, it might become an obstruction for Hate Story 4’s numbers.
