Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani has emerged as proven to be a hit within just 3 days at the box office. The romantic comedy, released on 20th May, has minted 55.96 in its first weekend.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film opened with an impressive amount of 14.11 crore and went on to make 18.34 crore and 23.51 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. On Monday, it earned 10.75 crore, thus the total collection of the film till now sums up to 66.71 crore.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is now almost set to reach a lifetime total upside of 150 crore, which would be a fantastic result for all stakeholders.
The film has been co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Anjum Khetani. The storyline follows Ruhan, a fraud psychic who is brought in to deal with the return of Manjulika in the Thakur palace. However, he unintentionally aggravates problems.
The first part of the film featured Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in key roles and was a huge hit. Initially set for July 31, 2020, release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was delayed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
