Guddu Rangeela & Second Hand Husband 4th Fourth Day Collection – Monday Business Report

Guddu Rangeela 4th Day Box Office Collection

ABCD 2 still holds a strong position at the box office, crossing the 100 crore mark;this weekend’s release, Guddu Rangeela did an average business in its opening weekend. The movie was, however, expected to do better, considering the fan following of Arshad Warsi and Ronit Roy. On Saturday and Sunday, the film minted Rs. 1.51 crores and Rs. 1.96 crores respectively. The total collection of the film for the weekend was Rs. 2.45 crores. “Guddu Rangeela Fri 1.51 cr, Sat 1.96 cr, Sun 2.35 cr. Total: Rs 5.82 cr. India biz,” box office analyst Adarsh added. The film benefits from the fact that its cost is 15 crore (including P&A) and since 9.5 crore have already been recovered through sale of satellite (7.5 crore) and music (2 crore) rights, only 5.5 crore remain to be earned back through theatrical revenue. That should be a cakewalk, hence allowing the film to sail through and get into profit zone. Now, Today being 4th Day and Box Office Income to be around Rs 1.75 Crore*.

Second Hand Husband Monday Box Office Business

Second Hand Husband saw mixed reviews coming its way, though up North it still did better business, as was expected. Still, since the release size wasn’t big and promotion barely apt, the film didn’t gain much of awareness and had numbers on the low side. Dharmendra starrer Second Hand Husband also performed just above the average. The film was Gippy Grewal’s debut in Bollywood. The film minted Rs. 1.35 crores on Friday and on Saturday it earned Rs. 1.50 crores. The Sunday total collection over the weakend was Rs 4.50 crores*. On its 4th Day or Monday Box Office Collection is around Rs 1.10 Crore*. The pre-release buzz for the movie is good because of the high fan following of Gippy Grewal & his debut in Bollywood. But the movie has managed to perform average only. Audience as well as critics giving mixed reviews for Second Hand Husband, but still it collected some at box office because of the support of fans.
