Golmaal Again 6th Day Collection, Surpasses the Lifetime Total of Jolly LLB 2 & Tubelight

In the opening weekend, Golmaal Again recorded incredible performance and did the phenomenal business of 87.60 crores, which included 30.14 crores of Friday, 28.37 crores of Saturday and 29.09 crores of Sunday. Now the movie is running in weekdays and still remained very strong on box office globally. On Monday, it reported almost 46.80% of drop than Friday and raked the business of 16.04 crores.

Then on Tuesday, Ajay Devgn starrer faced slight more drop and added the impressive amount of 13.25 crores. On the next day i.e. Wednesday with further decline, it minted the amount of 10.05 crores and made its 6 days total collection as 126.94 crores on domestic box office.

It has no competition in this week as two small movies in Jia Aur Jia and Rukh are releasing. Next week, too, Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha’s Ittefaq is releasing, which has the minimum buzz at least till now. The combined total of each of three Golmaal before this is 190 crore.

While it doesn’t seem probable that Golmaal Again would be able to reach that total eventually, it is still making a dash towards the 175 crore mark and that would be pretty remarkable as well. Golmaal Again is now officially the biggest franchise of Bollywood after Dhoom and Krrish series.

While both these aforementioned franchises are action affairs, Golmaal is the biggest in the comic series. Moreover, while Dhoom and Krrish have seen three instalments each, Golmaal is the only franchise to have seen four films release and each of them turning out to be a bigger success than the one before
