The critics say “Gentleman” has an interesting story that has never been explored in Tollywood before. There is nothing much in the first half in terms of story and the real drama starts unfolding before the interval. Few romantic and comedy sequences keep viewers engaged in the first half, which has slow and dragging narration. The second half of “Gentleman” has some interesting twists and turns and it is high on suspense elements, which makes the audience sit on the edge of their seats and watch it biting their nails.
This portion is the highlight of the movie. The critics are all praise for the director for his wonderful scripting. Nani, Surabhi and Niveda Thomas have delivered wonderful performances, which are big attractions of “Gentleman.” Srinivas Avasarala, Anand, Tanikella Bharani, Pragathi and Rohini, who have played supporting roles, have done justice to them and their performances are also big assets. The movie has brilliant production elements, add the critics. “Gentleman” has been rated an average of 3.18 out of 5 stars by the critics.
