This film, based on the life of 2nd century AD Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni, will be his 100th movie as an actor. Gautamiputra Satakarni also features Shriya Saran as the female lead and Bollywood’s dreamgirl Hema Malini in a crucial role.

Balakrishna’s Legend & Kanche had amassed Rs 10.50 crore gross and Rs 4.25 crore gross respectively, worldwide on the first day itself. So Gautamiputra Satakarni will definitely be bigger for Balakrishna and Krish as it will beat both the records.
