Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie, Agnathavasi, is creating a lot of ripples among his fans. The primary reason being, this is his 25th movie and that is enough to hype the film at the box office. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film is touted to be a romantic drama.
Pawan Kalyan had shared the first look of the film on his Twitter account sometime back. He has also tweeted from his new Twitter account, “I would like to pay my respects & love to cinema which gave me your immense love & the strength to serve our society through this platform – @pkcreativeworks which is my new twitter account dedicated to cinema.”
The poster shows him sitting in a comfortable arm-chair while seen twirling a company i-card with his fingers. Either he is playing a corporate stooge in the movie or a media personnel, going by the first look. But what has caught our fancy about the whole poster is the caption ‘Prince in Exile’.
Now, what does that mean? Is Pawan Kalyan’s character a royal member who is in the hiding due to some unforeseen circumstances? Agnathavasi is directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel are the female leads in the movie. Parag Tyagi, known for his role in the telly soap Pavithra Rishta, will make his Telugu debut as the villain of the piece.
Apart from these stars, the movie will also have Aadhi Pinisetty, Sampath Raj, Boman Irani and Kushboo. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music. Agnathavasi is all set to release on January 10, 2018, during the Sankranthi week. There are reports that the movie will be clashing with Jai Simha during the festival time, though their release dates are separated by a couple of days.
Jai Simha will release on January 12. Trade experts are predicting that Pawan Kalyan could benefit from the two-day lead, however going Nandamuri’s BO dominance in recent times, the collections could hit a roadblock when Jai Simha releases.
