: Nawazuddin Sidduqui’s Stylish Villain In Munna Michael
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was last seen in Freaky Ali, is all set to appear in an all-new avataar in his upcoming film Munna Michael. The film, directed by Sabbir Khan, will have Tiger Shroff in the lead role as a street kid who is a die-hard fan of pop icon Michael Jackson. Nawazuddin sports a new hairstyle, pierced ears, sunglasses and a leather jacket.
The look was apparently director Sabbir Khan’s brainchild. “While writing Nawazuddin’s character, I knew exactly how I wanted him to look, how he would walk, talk. Once Nawaz had got into the skin of the character, I explained how I wanted him to look and expected him to raise a few questions but there were none. He surrendered completely and went through everything patiently,” Sabbir said.
Nawazuddin said that he is happy to get an opportunity to romance on-screen, as he has been wanting to show a different side of him to the audience. “Theres a lot of romance, apart from the dancing, in this film. I want to play a romantic hero.” The film, which will have Tiger showcase his dancing skills and pay tribute to Michael Jackson, will also mark the debut of newbie Nidhhi Agerwal.
The actor will play a grey character in the film and by just looking at his stylish transformation, we can expect a meaty role from him. He was last seen as a grey character in Anurag Kashyap’s Raman Raghav 2.0. Munna Michael is directed by Sabbir Khan and it stars Tiger Shroff and debutante Nidhhi Agerwal in lead roles. The film is set to hit the screens on 7th July, 2017.
