Even in its second week, the film did more than the combined collections of newer releases Dirty Politics, Hey Bro and Badmashiyaan, which pretty much tells the tale. What is remarkable about the success of this Ayushmann Khurranna & Bhumi Pednekar film is the fact that its second week was almost same as the first week. Now this is a phenomenon that was last witnessed in case of Queen when there was practically no fall whatsoever. With very good word of mouth, the film has marked the arrival of Sharat Katariya into the Bollywood scene. The Yash Raj production has sustained quite well which reflected in 10 crore more that came in the second week. If the weekend saw good footfalls, the weekdays were super consistent too. Currently, the film stands at just under Rs.21 crore and the way it is going, Rs.28-30 crore are on the cards.

Dum Laga Ke Haisha 3rd Friday Box Office Collection

While the film collected Rs 6.12 crore in the first weekend, during the second weekend it made Rs 6.72 crore, taking the grand total to Rs 17.36 crore which includes the collection of the week days. The ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ box office collections now stand at Rs 20.57 crore. Ayushmann Khuranna-Bhumi Pednekar starrer has become the 6th biggest movie of the year behind, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’ (Rs 95.56 crore), Varun Dhawan’s ‘Badlapur’ (Rs 50 crore), Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Roy’ (Rs 44.52 crore), Arjun Kapoor’s ‘Tevar’ (Rs 39.26 crore) and Amitabh Bachchan’s Shamitabh (Rs 22.46 crore). Now, Today is the 15th day of release and the film has again picked up a bit and managed to earn around Rs 75 Lacs. Though it has suffered a lot first due to NH10 & secondly due to 2 week already gone, the interesting fact is that Dum Laga Ke Haisha is still surviving on box office even after that. It has still got audience who are up to a bit interested in watching it resulting in some income for the film after 2 weeks too. This weekend the film might gross some decent figures into its account and we do not expect it to survive after the third week.
