Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer “Drishyam” had a decent fourth day at the box office in India. The thriller collected half of the amount on Monday compared to its opening day at the box office. “Drishyam” four days box office collection now stands at Rs 34.08 crore in India. Ajay-Tabu starrer has surpassed the lifetime box office collection of a few movies, including “Hamari Adhuri Kahani”, “Bombay Velvet”, “Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!” and “NH10” among others. Meanwhile, at the overseas box office the film has opened to decent response. “Drishyam” collected approximately Rs 2.52 crore from the overseas markets, including the US-Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysian box offices. Drishyam stayed quite steady on its 1st Tuesday at the Box Office. The Ajay Devgn starrer added more 3.75 crores in its kitty, taking its nett India total to 37.83 crores* so far. Everyone appreciating the performance of Ajay in the movie, also Tabu is getting praised for performing her character of a stern cop so well.


Drishyam Wednseday Box Office Business

Talking about the collection of this movie then it has made decent trade in Indian cinemas & also some overseas markets have brought decent figures in its account. Drishyam due to weekdays right now has done average job and managed to earn around 3.50 Crore today i.e. on its sixth day of release. The film is carrying a positive word of mouth, which ensures that Drishyam will sustain well till 2 weeks atleast at the Box Office. Drishyam can go on to be a reasonably good grosser, if it scores good in its 2nd week too. A remake of the 2013 Malayalam film of the same name, Drishyam deals with the life of a cable operator in Goa who ends up at the centre of a storm when the son of Inspector General Meera Deshmukh goes missing. The film features Ajay and Tabu together after a long time. Apart from the two leads, Drishyam stars Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor and Kamlesh Sawant in pivotal roles.
