Ajay Devgn and Tanu starrer “Drishyam” had a decent Seventh day at the box office in India. “Drishyam”, which is running well at the box offices due to word of mouth, minted approximately Rs 4.10 crore on Thursday. The seven-day box office collection of “Drishyam” is now resting at Rs 46.88 crore*. The seven day box office collection is lower than fifth day’s earnings, but it still scored in the range of Monday’s income. Nishikanth Kamath’s directorial film is now looking forward to enter the Rs 50 crore club and break Varun Dhawan’s “Badlapur” and Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer “Roy” box office collection record. On its sixth day, “Drishyam” broke the records of Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha starrer “Tevar” record. “Drishyam” faced a stiff competition from movies, including “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” and “Baahubali – The Beginning” (Bahubali). However, despite all the factors “Drishyam” managed to make its presence felt at the box office in India.

After getting many figures collected in the first weekend, now the second weekend has shown somewhat much dropped performance than the first week. Though the weekend time is contributing in the increased box office figures of the film as compared to past weekdays but not the totality the box office report of Drishyam has come highly down. We saw that film received good public reviews in its pre release period and the post release time has been not so favorable. Today the film opened with no occupancy or any positive word of mouth that could work for the film even. Second Friday has come up with bit better income for the film resulting in total 3.85 Crores*. With the release of latest flicks from different industries today on the big screen, income of film is expected to be affected in the coming days and weekend too. Bollywood lovers do not want to skip this thriller movie that has released after many drama, romantic & comedy movies.
