Dishoom 5th Day Collection: 1st Tuesday Earning Report

Dishoom 5 Days Box Office Collection

The very first day when Dishoom hit the screens, we were certain that this film is going to win major hearts at the box office. I mean, don’t you think it has everything to be called as the ultimate crowd-puller? Starring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, the film not only explores the buddy cop genre but even stars an equally sexy bombshell in the form of Jacqueline Fernandez. Now with so much to vouch for, why would anyone avoid watching this film? Which explains why Dishoom is already inching towards the Rs 50 crore mark within 4 days of release. Yes!

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh just tweeted a round-up of Dishoom’s box office latest figures stating, “#Dishoom Fri 11.05 cr, Sat 12.02 cr, Sun 14.25 cr, Mon 4.85 cr. Total: ₹ 42.17 cr. India biz.” Now isn’t that awesome? Although you might notice a major drop on Monday in comparison to Sunday’s figures but the fact that the film is soon to hit the Rs 50 crore mark is in itself a huge draw. Not to forget, a lot of hopes were riding on Dishoom, mainly because of a spectacular couple of weekends thanks to Sultan.  Salman Khan‘s film earned so well that the trade was eagerly looking at this buddy cop film to keep the momentum going at the box office.

And with no surprise, looks like the numbers of Dishoom are indeed making everyone happy. If the trade report is anything to go by, Dishoom can easily also give competition to the lifetime collections of Fan, Baaghi and Housefull 3 too. On the next day i.e. Tuesday with slight drop it added the amount of 4.30 cr to its account. After 5 days, total collection of Dishoom is recorded as 46.47 cr.

It seems, the movie will easily touch the mark of 50 cr in this week on domestic box office. It is important for Dishoom, to remain stable in the weekdays at the box office, so that it can stand with decent figures in its opening week. Dishoom is directed by Rohit Dhawan and it also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles.
