Dilwale Tuesday (5th Day) Collection – 1st Tuesday Business Report

Diwale 5th Day Box Office Collection

Two big films “Dilwale” and “Bajirao Mastani” went head-to-head at the box office on Friday but strangely both have been doing great at the ticket window since. However, if this was avoided, Shah Rukh Khan believes his film would have made really good money. However, he is sort of okay with what’s going on right now as he knows the clash isn’t going to make a massive difference. ‘Dilwale’ got a collection of Rs. 21.55 crores net on its first day which is a very good number despite the clash with ‘Bajirao Mastani’. On the second day there was a drop in collection as the film got Rs 20.09 crores. The film collected Rs. 24 crores net on Sunday and with Monday collection of Rs. 10.09 crores net making the current total to Rs. 75.18 crores net after its first weekend.

The film has however achieved a milestone in terms of its worldwide weekend business. The first week business of ‘Dilwale’ is expected to be around 95 crores net approx which is also a figure that seems reasonable given the fall on Monday. The film is however doing wonders overseas with Gulf region getting the biggest collection for any Bollywood film of all time. The film has also entered the list of highest opening weekend worldwide 2015 after ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. In terms of worldwide figures the film is heading steady towards the 200 crore mark.

Also in addition to it, so much popular buzz regarding the film and Christmas festive time have made such a favorable atmosphere for the fans, so this thing is really making his fans desperate about the movie. The total duration of the film is 2 hours and 33 minutes with full of comedy and good action scenes. The critics and experts have also appreciated the film and are really applauding SRK’s acting. As I have maintained over the last four days, the real fun would be in the second weekend as that would decide the eventual course that the Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon film will take. A good haul in the Christmas holidays would decide the eventual verdict that theRohit Shetty film would enjoy. Till then, it is going to be wait and watch period for all involved.

Lovers from all across the world are going for the film after its official release and it is needless to report here that he has a great fan base worldwide including Arab counties & USA contributing enough income from overseas screens. Today the film entered its fifth day of release and being Tuesday i.e. a weekday it was expected to face a downfall but that just not happened totally and it made the film to earn as hilarious business of around 9.40 Crores only from India. So this is an awesome figure for the film considering it a weekday. It seemed that vacation time has appeared to be a golden egg for Dilwale not only in the domestic country but in the other supportive countries also like USA, UAE and Pakistan.
