Dilwale Total Investment
‘Dilwale’ is all set to hit the theaters on December 18. It seems like Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s track in this film is an intense love story. Giving a slight hint about the story line, the new trailer is released one week ahead of the film release. Much talked about chemistry of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol has been highlighted by the trailer. Varun Dhawan, who is playing Shah Rukh Khan’s younger brother strikes Shah Rukh’s signature pose. Kriti Sanon, who was last seen in ‘Heropanti’ looks promising in the trailer. Apart from the story line, the trailer also highlights the exotic locations that the film promises to offer. Directed by Rohit Shetty, this film seem to have a lot of action in store for the audience. Cars exploding mid way is only one of them.
‘Dilwale’ is releasing on the same day as ‘Bajiraao Mastaani’. Varun Dhawan is playing the role of Shah Rukh khan’s younger brother and Kriti Sanon, his love interest. The trailer maintains the ‘some love stories never end’ pace just like the previous trailer. But surprisingly film has been made with a reasonable budget of around Rs 110+ crores. SRK’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment has entered a ‘strategic alliance’ with TV network Multi Screen Media (MSM). Sources close to the star’s banner claim that MSM has acquired the satellite rights of ‘Dilwale’ for Rs 60 crore and the entire deal covering his next two to three creative projects comes to a whopping Rs 220 crore. On April 10, hitlist had reported about the Rohit Shetty action-drama cracking the biggest music deal with Sony Music at Rs 19 crore.
Dilwale Number of Screens
Shah Rukh Khan & Kajol-starrer Dilwale did not disappoint as it opened to nearly packed houses across the country. Early trade reports suggest the movie’s occupancy touched 80 per cent for the first couple of shows and was expected to increase for shows towards the later part of the day. Industry estimates peg the first-day worldwide collection at Rs 35 to 40 crore net. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and includes Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. It is co-produced by Gauri Khan in association with Red Chillies Entertainment, the studio being responsible for the distribution and promotion of the film as well. Dilwale is being released in nearly 4500 screens worldwide.
Dilwale which is running so powerfully much before its official release is surely going to get a huge advantage of this fact that it will hit so high number or say highest number of screens till date in the Bollywood film industry. We have seen most of the time that any film releasing on high number of screens gets increased audience response automatically as any film if shown on larger number of screens defines more audience coming to the theatres and hence more income.
