Dilwale 6th (Sixth) Day Collection – 1st Wednesday Business Report

Dilwale 6th Day Box Office Collection

Dilwale too had a decent day which saw 9.42 crore coming in. The film stands around the 84.60 crore mark and one expects that the 100 crore mark may just be managed before the Rohit Shetty film steps into the second weekend. The film is keeping steady and though the collections are not low, it is just that the expectations are much higher from a Shahrukh Khan film. If not for the clash, the multi-starrer would have most definitely covered a much greater distance. But after the completion of first weekend film is not showing much nice performance. It got mixed public response and critic’s reviews through and overall occupancy of the film is going down considerably these days.

Bollywood’s well known director Rohit Shetty has recently presented an action comedy movie Dilwale with the most romantic couple Shahrukh Khan & Kajol better known as Raj-Simran. Both the stars have made comeback together after a long time and that is the reason, Dilwale has huge hype among audience. Earlier it was expected to chase the record of Bajrangi Bhaijaan but due to release of another much awaited Bajirao Mastani on the same day, its screens get divided which resulted out in less business than expected earlier.

Audience find it very entertaining, as a result it has minted the total collection of 65.09 crores in its opening weekend which is comprised of 21 crores on Friday, 20.09 crores on Saturday & 24 crores on Sunday. In overseas too, it has performed excellently and recorded the total collection of 56.38 crores in weekend. Now the movie has entered in weekdays and as expected getting less audience in theaters than weekend. On Monday it was witnessed more than 50% of drop than Sunday and raked the business of 10.09 crores. Whereas the adjacent released Bajirao Mastani was reported higher business of 10.25 crores. On Tuesday, Dilwale has recorded almost similar response from audience and its collection is likely to be near about 9.42 crores as its fifth day collection.

Talking about the collection of this movie then it has made decent trade in Indian cinemas & also some overseas markets have brought decent figures in its account. Even in weekdays, Dilwale is performing well and has done business of 9.10 Crore today i.e. on its sixth day of release. We all know that this hyped blaster has been made on high cost and is one of the awaited movies of this year. We have seen Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Baahubali, Tanu Weds Manu Returns etc making new records at box office in around 4 weeks and expectations were earlier on what Dilwale achieves in its coming days and lifetime on the whole but now due to weak story.
