Dilwale 25th Day Box Office Collection
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has given several blockbusters to the industry. However, last year his much-awaited and solo film failed to spill its magic on the audience. We are talking about SRK’s ‘Dilwale’ which was the talk of the town as it brought back the magical jodi of King Khan and Kajol after a gap of five years. Despite having a huge star cast and great promotions, ‘Dilwale’ failed to create an impact on the audience and didn’t even reached the mark of Rs 150 crore in the Indian market.
While the movie is being criticised by the viewers, the recent buzz that the failure of ‘Dilwale’ has created a rift between superstar Shah Rukh Khan and movie’s director Rohit Shetty, As per media reports, the two have started blaming each other for the loss. If the gossip mills are to be believed, Rohit Shetty’s team has blamed SRK for not promoting ‘Dilwale’ properly. They have accused King Khan sating that the actor didn’t put in his entire efforts for the movie like he did for Chennai Express and that is the reason why ‘Dilwale’ didn’t work on the box office.
SRK-Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer action comedy Dilwale was minted the total amount of 146.68 crores in India, that includes 102.65 crores of first week, 32.56 crores of second week and 11.47 crores of third week. On overseas box office, Dilwale is leading and grossed 150+ crores . Third week was not as much powerful as the early two and then and fourth week went more down due to another Bollywood biggie hitting the big screen- Wazir, which is nowadays the latest movie released among all the flicks.
Dilwale after facing both sides- record breaking and amenable public response in first 2 weeks & low and dull income plus audience feedback in the next two week has managed to collect 25th day income of around 0.56 Crore*. Film is now running with low occupancy plus response due to other options as well as long period form release till date. It might run up to the completion of 1 month and then it is expected to close down from all the screens.
