Dilwale 21 Days Worldwide Collection Report
SRK & Kajol starrer recent movie Dilwale has completed its 3 weeks journey at the big screen today. This mega budget film was released last month on 18 December 2015 near the occasion of Christmas. Not only in India but Dilwale made record breaking performance in the overseas screens too and received marvelous reviews and response from all over. The film has been loved by all the audience all over the India and international countries. It received mixed reviews and feedback from everyone whether critics, trade experts, celebrities, domestic audience or overseas viewers. Dilwale has been claimed as the blockbuster and highest grosser of this all the time and in our Bollywood film industry history plus last year 2015 also.
Dilwale is directed by actions specialist Rohit Shetty and was earlier expected to do more better. But due to the clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical love story movie Bajirao Mastani, half a portion of audience get subtracted. The SRK starrer has received positive reviews from almost all viewers as well as critics and was taken an excellent start on box office. After the opening week, it lost its hold over audience and started getting low response. Due to which, the opposite one Bajirao Mastani has surpassed its total domestic collection till the second week.
Claiming such a magnificent position has been possible only due to smooth and decent performance of the film till now. We all know that it is now end of third week for Dilwale and the day being a weekday saw average occupancy of viewers in the cinema halls but still movie fared nice figures in its account by end of the day. Dilwale made a good start today and due to nice weather more viewers could be seen opting for watching movie today even after the day being a weekday. Once again it has entered in normal working days and as expected getting low occupancy in theaters. It has collected the amount of 1.75 crore on its Monday and 1.55 crore of Tuesday.
On the next day, it faced low response and added 1.31 crore* as its 20th day collection. Till yet, total domestic collection of Dilwale has become 148.53 crores*. This resulted in a positive income of film and it made total business of around 1.20 Crores* on its 21st day of release. Total 3 weeks performance is outstanding and way beyond the reach most of the Bollywood films. It has done an overall business of nearly 150+ Crores* till; its 3rd week end. This clearly shows how much it has been loved by audience
