Dilwale 15 Days Worldwide Box Office Collection
Shahrukh Khan starrer Dilwale is running its great effect over the big screens these days. The film performed outstandingly in its first week and the second week was also too good. Total 2 weeks business of the film has resulted in 300+ Crore income for the film makers of Dilwale and everyone is so astonished by this response from the audience from all over. The movie was recorded overwhelmed response across the globe and also received positive reviews from most of the critics but still started facing heavy drops in its business just after the opening weekend. Being a superstar Shahrukh Khan starrer, this movie had huge pre-release hype among audience and that was the reason behind its excellent start on box office.
In weekdays, Dilwale has faced more drops in its business and raked 3.40 crores* on Monday, 3.09 crores* on Tuesday and 2.97 crores on Wednesday. On the last day of the second week i.e. Thursday it has minted the amount of 2.40 crores* as its 14th day collection, to make its 2 weeks domestic total as 135.74 crores*. Now once again the weekend is here and of course the movie is expected to show little but some rise in response as well as business.
Wednesday was pretty similar to Thursday with a slight fall across the country and after it as the new weekend has started so the film has got better public than the weekdays. Blockbuster of the year Dilwale is now a 300+ Crores movie as the film has crossed the magical mark in its 2nd week’s end worldwide. It has also covered its cost already from the 1st week service and now the film is running in total profit. After such a big amount of income in first 2 weeks now the film is expected to cross the 320+ Crore mark in its lifetime. Third Friday income of Dilwale has been recorded at around 4.15 Crore* (Happy New Year 2016 Hoilday).
Third week is expected to see mix reaction from the audience. It can face a fall in the overall audience rush and excitement due to Ranveer Singh latest magnum opus movie Bajirao Mastani but will still have a good hold over the major number of screens. Cinema reports Dilwale has now audience occupancy of about 30-40% and if this continues to fall lower than it might get a fall back from the box office and end up sooner than the expected time period.
