Dilwale 12th Day Box Office Collection Report
Dilwale opened all guns blazing, but throughout the first week the film has maintained an average occupancy and the collections were steady. While the film has performed very well at the international markets, Dilwale‘s momentum has been slipping after the first Sunday. The film had seen a dip in the first week, however a growth on Thursday gave a hope for a better second weekend. Now once again, the film has entered in weekdays and started facing drops in its occupancy as well as business. In fact, Bajirao Mastani has clawed back Dilwale‘s advantage and is all set to take over the lead by today or tomorrow. Dilwale had a second weekend collection of Rs 21.23 crore (Friday+Saturday+Sunday), compared to Bajirao Mastani‘s second weekend collection of Rs 34.30 crore. The percentage decline from the first weekend to the second weekend is also high for Dilwale.
On Monday, it has faced almost 45% of drop and raked the business of 4.25 crores* as its 11th day collection. Till the end of the day, total collection of Dilwale is recorded as 128.13 crores* on domestic box office which made to hold 4th position among year’s top highest grosser Hindi movies. Anyhow, All the viewers are busy due to their working schedule and this is affecting its performance quite a lot. Film was released on huge number of screens all over India and overseas screens but the main part of income from first day to 12th day has been from the domestic places and cities. The day of second Tuesday saw a decent income and public interest by the end of the night.
the movie has shown the down fall in its total report compared to first week or weekend but this much fall is usual owing to the weekday’s time. Also the film is in its second week so that is also a fact behind the lesser audience fever for the film. 12th Day (Tuesday) Box Office Collection of Dilwale is nearly 4.06 Crores. The collection of the movie was better than the new releases on the theaters. This shows how much public have loved the movie and are curious to watch it on theaters.
Anyhow, This romantic action film was released last week among huge craze of audience and reported phenomenal business in opening weekend. But from weekdays, it was started witnessing lesser response than Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic film Bajirao Mastani. Dilwale has received positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers and also audience find it entertaining. But that positive reactions have stopped working in the second week.
