Dhruva 24 Days Box Office Report
Surender Reddy’s directorial action movie Dhruva has already completed its journey of 3 weeks at box office with 46 crores*. It is a remake of Tamil movie Thani Oruvan and its story is almost similar. That is the reason some critics didn’t found it up to the mark and reviewed it with low stars. But audience liked the movie and supported it to get good amount at box office. It features Ram Charan & Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles and all performed their characters very well.
The movie clashed with Dangal, Nanna Nenu Na Boyfriends, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, Janaki Ramudu, Ameerpetlo and Chinnari, which forced it out of some cinema halls. The film earned Rs 16.65 crore gross at the worldwide box office in the second week. In its third week, new releases Pittagoda, Vangaveeti, Sapthagiri Express, Okkadochadu reduced its screen count further. The Surender Reddy-directed film witnessed a drop in viewership considerably. Dhruva was made with a whopping budget of over Rs 50 crore and its global theatrical rights were sold for a record price of Rs 57.50 crore.
On its 20th day i.e. third Wednesday, it has recorded slight fall in its occupancy and done the business of 0.36 crore*. On the last day of week, its collection has been recorded as 0.27 crore*. Till the end of its third week, the total collection of Dhruva has become 44.73 crores* at Indian box office. Now the movie has entered in its 4th week and started the week with 0.25 crore* as its 22nd day collection.
