31 Days Total Collection of Dangal
Nitesh Tiwari’s recent directorial venture Dangal has come very close to the mark of 380 crores and is positively expected to touch it by this week. Superstar Aamir Khan starrer this sports drama has enjoyed phenomenal response from audience in early weeks. After that it witnessed considerable drop due to new releases and now it has slowed down. Despite being slowed down, the movie is increasing its business total with every single day and heading break-free to the mark of 400 crores.
So far it has shattered many records and currently on the third place among top highest grossing movies of all time in Bollywood. In the opening week, Dangal reported exceptional occupancy and did the business of 197.54 crores including 107.01 crores of weekend and 90.44 crores of weekdays. In the second week, it witnessed fall in its occupancy but still maintained a good pace and raked the business of 115.96 crores. In the third week, it recorded little higher drop due to Chiranjeevi’s much awaited Khaidi No 150 but managed to add 46.35 crores in its account.
In the fourth week, it had new Hindi release OK Jaanu in opposite and collected 15.08 crores. After 4 weeks, total collection of Dangal was recorded as 374.93 crores on domestic box office and 197.70 crores from overseas market. Now the movie has entered in the fifth week and has no new strong movie in opposite. On its 5th Friday, Dangal showed slight growth than previous day and raked the business of 1.19 crore.
On Saturday, with more growth in its occupancy, it collected the amount of 2.10 crores. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie remained almost similar due to #IndvEng cricket match. With this it is estimated to add the amount of 2.83 crores to its account and to make 31 days net total collection as 381.05 crores on domestic box office.
