Evening cold weather hampered movie’s late shows business but not to worry; the business will get covered in coming days. Christmas time has also made Dangal to gain an advantage of higher audience feedback and choice. It seemed as if all the other movies running before it lost their seats at all just in one day. Such fantastic and record breaking first day collection have cleared that the movie is going to reveal more of its colors in the coming days of the weekend with even more high records. At the theatres, people have been praising the performances of Aamir and the Dangal girls. The audience have left the theatre in awe of the movie and cannot stop raving about it.
The wrestling scenes, the father-daughter relationship and the powerful message that the film gives out, is what everyone is talking about on social media. The good word of mouth publicity and the fantastic reviews will help the movie grow over the weekend. And with a Rs 30+ crore collection on day 1, we expect the film to touch the Rs 80-90 crore mark by the end of the first weekend. This is way lower than the first weekend collections of Salman Khan‘s Sultan, which had collected Rs 180.36 crore. However, in its lifetime run Dangal can quite easily beat Sultan. In fact, according to our predictions, Aamir Khan’s film can easily touch the Rs 400 crore mark.
