Dangal 16th Day Collection

After making an impactful performance in the first two weeks now the Aamir Khan starrer movie Dangal has started getting affected by other latest Bollywood movies. We know that it is the highest grosser of this year and to cross its income is way too far for any movie right now but the fact is that by the start of third week the film has been seeing considerable fall in its occupancy and income.

At the domestic market, Dangal has managed to collect a staggering Rs 313.50 crore in just 14 days. While the movie’s strong content helped the movie achieve such a feat, there are other factors too. The holiday season also helped the movie tremendously, especially in the overseas market. Both the Christmas and New Year holidays were beneficial for Aamir Khan’s movie, as it raked in HUGE numbers on both the days.

The movie had been on the theaters for numerous numbers of days and as no competitive movie released in the previous weeks the movie had got full advantage over box office. But by now maximum number of people had watched the movie and collection of the movie will show a downward trend from the third week weekdays. Anyhow the third Saturday i.e. 16th day income of Dangal by the end of day is around Rs 10.80 Crores. It is not too bad for the film considering the start of downfall trend from the second week.

The film has cleared the figure to be called as a blockbuster hit of this year and is right on its way to cross another 50 Crores mark in its account. Apart from that, the strong word of mouth publicity has also helped the movie very much. People have been raving about Dangal ever since it hit the screens. The powerful message and the stunning performances by Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra are things that people are talking about on the streets even today. The film is very good entertainer and still giving good competition to latest releases.
