Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ Crosses 270 Cr on Indian Screens

Since its release on 23 December 2016, Aamir Khan’s Dangal is doing awesome business over the screens till today. The film saw its second Monday today and the total occupancy and performance of the film is still decent after drop. Due to enormous hype, superstar Aamir Khan starrer this sports biopic was released last Friday and witnessed overwhelmed response of audience across the country as well as overseas. From critics also, it has received very positive reviews, which generated strong word of mouth about it.


The film has continued its glorious run on box office on its eleventh working day too with good overall income. Its been the second week running for the film and it is still running alone on the screens in most of the places due to no adjacent competitive releases. Though film has lost much occupancy and response than previously expected but anyhow the film total income was recorded decent enough considering today as a weekday and also second week for the film.

Aamir Khan’s magnum opus seems to be getting appreciated all over the domestic country and the overseas screens as well. 11th day has reported nice business from different places and altogether on its second Monday, Dangal has made the collection of around 13.45 Crores and now stands with a total of 284.69 crores at the Box Office. Dangal is all set to cross the 300 crore mark by its 2nd week at the domestic marketHaving released in a festive season, the film has had an overwhelming run at the box office all these days.

It has already broken a number of box office records and is expected to break many others. However, Dangal may witness fall in its collection from Monday as the festive season is over. Nevertheless, with very strong word of mouth and no major release in sight, Dangal is likely to dominate the box office for some more time. Apart from Aamir, the sports biopic featured Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Sakshi Tanwar, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar, among others.
