This Friday released new offerings Poster Boys and Daddy are being faced much loss due to already ruling mammoth Baadshaho and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. The good news is that the Poster Boys has seen decent to good reviews coming its way. The humour quotient of the film has been appreciated by critics as well as well that select audience segment which has seen it so far.

Daddy & Poster Boys 2nd Day Collection, Arjun Rampal starrer Remains Low on Saturday

Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade starrer Poster Boys is the official remake of hit Marathi movie Poshter Boyz. It is the story of three common men who accidentally become the face of a vasectomy advertisement. From critics, the movie is getting mixed reviews but most of the audience has found it entertaining.

At box office also, it recorded dull response and registered the opening of only 1.75 crore on 1000 screens nationwide. On Saturday, despite being weekend it witnessed limited growth and collected the amount of 2.40 crores to make it’s total 4.15 crores. Because of the support of fans, it can rise on Sunday.

On the other hand, Daddy would need a 100% jump since the start has been lower at 1.30 crore. Producer-actor Arjun Rampal has done well in Daddy but audiences haven’t really queued up on the opening day to watch what the film has to offer.

Now it has to be seen if the target audience for the film, masses which love gangster dramas, would be catching word around the Ashim Ahluwalia directed affair and give it a dekko. On Saturday with almost similar response, it minted the amount of 1.50 crores and made it’s domestic total 2.80 crores.

For Arjun Rampal as an actor, the film has emerged as a good showcase since he has given a good account of himself.  Over the years he has been doing well and is one of the few actors to be in the business for more than 15 years now. Daddy is a film that was tailor-made for him and he has done well all over again. Now it is a matter of audiences seeing this as well and giving him as well as the film its due.
