2 Days Total Collection of Vidyut’s Commando 2
Vidyuat Jammwal is back in action with the second installment of Commando. The movie titled Commando 2: The Black Money Trail has garnered mixed reviews at the box office. But lack of good reviews is not stopping the movie from crunching numbers. On the opening day the Deven Bhojani directorial has minted Rs 5.14 at the box office. Commando 2 has beaten Logan, Hollywood film which released on the same day, in terms of numbers. Logan only managed to crunch Rs 4.75 at the box office.
Commando 2 has also beaten the numbers garnered by Ok Janu (Rs 4.08 cr) and The Ghazi Attack (Rs 4.25 cr). The word of mouth of the film is not good! Let us see if the movie passes the Monday test. It has collected Rs 5.11 lakh in Hindi circuit, while Tamil/Telugu versions minted 3 lacs. The best outcome was seen at Mumbai, Delhi/UP, and Punjab with Commando 2 collecting Rs 1.59 crore, Rs 92 lakh, and Rs 45 lakh respectively in these regions.
Commando 2’s the occupancy rate has been only 10 per cent in multiplexes. But single screens apparently has shown a better outcome. Taran Adarsh has revealed that Commando 2 got 2200 screens to work on, which is slightly more than Ranveer Singh’s Befikre, which had received 2100. On Saturday too, Reliance Entertainment’s Commando 2 remained strong across the country and due to weekend reported slight growth in its business.
Although, according to early estimates, the film dropped slightly on its second day. It collected 4.42 crores on Saturday, thus taking its total to 9.56 crores at the box office. Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta, Adah Sharma & Freddy Daruwala starrer this action thriller is based on the mission to bring India’s most wanted black money agent back to country from Malaysia. Such story has already been showcased many times in Bollywood, that it why the movie has received mixed reviews from critics but they have appreciated the performances of all the actors.
