Brothers Sixth 6th Day Collection- Wednesday Box Office Business Report

Brothers 6th Day Box Office Collection

After a good weekend at the Box Office, Brothers collected 6.15 crores* more on 1st Tuesday. As a result, the Karan Malhotra directed film now stands at 64.46 crores after five days. “Brothers” dropped drastically on its first Tuesday, i.e. on fifth day. The drop in the business is around 60% compared to its opening day. In order to end up with an overall healthy first week, Brothers would have to stay consistent at least at this level on day by day basis so that 75 crore can be touched before the kick-start of the second weekend. Also, the drop in the collection is huge considering the star cast. The box office collection of Akshay’s last film “Gabbar Is Back” also dropped on fifth day, but since the opening day earnings of the film was lower than “Brothers” the drop witnessed on first Tuesday was just 54%. Currently, there is no competition in theaters and the Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer has a stage open for it to bring in footfalls. Drishyam, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Bahubali are still running in theaters but are collectively making 2-3 crore on a daily basis. In comparison, Brothers has the majority of screens available for itself to enjoy major share of occupancy.

Brothers Wednesday Performance at Box Office

Brothers got amazing public response through the trailers and promos and after its actual official release the level got higher. Talking about the collection of this movie then Brothers have made good trade not only in Indian cinemas but also overseas markets have brought decent figures in its account. Brothers inspite of weekdays right now has done good job and managed to earn around 5.44 Crore* today i.e. on its 6th day of release or 1st Wednesday. Meanwhile at the overseas market, “Brothers” had a good opening weekend. The overseas box office collection of “Brothers” is better than Akshay’s previous films, including “Baby”, “Gabbar Is Back”, “Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty” and “Entertainment”. “Brothers” is now Akshay and Sidharth’s highest opening weekend grosser in the overseas market. The Karan Malhotra film is produced by Dharma Productions, Lionsgate Films and Endemol India. It starred Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, Shefali Shah.
