Box Office: Raees 3rd Day Collection, SRK starrer going strong in Indian Screens

Bollywood’s superstar Shahrukh Khan & Mahira Khan starrer this Wednesday released action crime thriller Raees is storming at box office. The movie has started on an excellent note and receiving terrific response from fans and audience. It has received positive reviews from Bollywood critics as well as movie goers but still it is flying high on craze. Raees is witnessing more than 70% of occupancy across the country and also recorded wonderful response in overseas. The movie also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who are also being appreciated by the audience.


On the very first day, Raees was recorded almost 70% of occupancy on Indian screens and minted the amount of 20.42 crores. It was expected to open with year’s highest opening but due to clash with Sanjay Gupta’s revenge drama Kaabil, it scored less and registered year’s second highest opening after Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees. Raees total domestic box office collection now stands at Rs 46.42 crore net. The positive word-of-mouth publicity coupled with the Republic Day holiday seemed to have boosted the movie’s business.

Meanwhile, As per the fans of the Shah Rukh Khan and the expert team of Bollywood, it reveals from the promos and trailers of the movie that SRK has done a fantastic job so he is very much able to collect out awesome collection in the coming days of the week. Today the film entered its third day of release and performed best among the total days by now. Raees has done an well job on its third day of release as per the expectations and giving the film decent earning figure and occupancy level today.

Audience went to watch the film with great response and excitement. With favorable audience reviews and so god platform to earn income, third day business done by Raees movie is nearly 13.11 Crores domestically, which has made its 3 days domestic net total as 59.83 crores. As a matter of fact on Thursday the Hrithik Roshan starrer scored quite huge and was clearly attracting a huge count of footfalls. Still, this Rahul Dholakia film has not just maintained very good numbers but also got added momentum going for it.
