4 Days Total Box Office Collection of Sarkar 3 & Meri Pyaari Bindu
Latest Bollywood films Meri Pyaari Bindu & Sarkar 3 have been released this Friday with very low buzz among audience across the country and as predicted remained dull throughout the opening weekend. All two offerings have received poor response from audience and disappointed everyone with their performances on box office. While the 3 weeks ago released Tollywood dubbed film Baahubali 2 has reported far better business in India.
With around 15-20% of occupancy over the weekend and negative reviews from critics, Akshay Roy’s directorial Meri Pyaari Bindu registered the very low business of 6.50 crore from Indian screens, which was including 1.75 crore of Friday, 2.25 crore of Saturday and 2.50 crore of Sunday. Now the Parineeti Chopra & Ayushmann Khurana starrer has entered in weekdays and done the business of 0.85 crores on Monday with usual drop on normal working day.
On the other hand, Ram Gopal Varma’s directorial Sarkar 3 which has got failed to attract audience toward theaters. With 10-15% of occupancy, Amitabh Bachchan starrer did the business of 6.75 crore in the first weekend, which was including 2.10 crore of Friday, 2.25 crore of Saturday and 2.40 crore of Sunday. With usual drop, this political thriller film collected the amount of 0.85 crores on Monday.
As long as the collections are in the same range as Friday [1.75 crore], the film could have some sort of a chance to step into the second week with a decent count of shows. Else, it would become tough since another romcom [Half Girlfriend] is slated to hit the screens on the coming Friday and there would also be added competition from dramedy Hindi Medium which is slated to arrive alongside as well.
