Bhoomi, Haseena Parkar and Newton 6th Day Collection at Domestic Box Office

About a week back released Hindi movies Bhoomi, Haseena Parkar are struggling to get audience in theaters from the very first day. The first two that were released with decent buzz, are getting poor response at box office. While the third one Newton has raked higher business at box office.

Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer revenge drama movie Bhoomi was released with decent buzz and got disappointing start at box office. In the opening weekend, it did the business of only 7.48 crores in India. This was included 2.25 crores of Friday, 2.47 crores of Saturday and 2.76 crores of Sunday.

Then in weekdays, asusual it recorded lesser footfalls and minted the amount of 1 crores on Monday, 0.90 crore on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, the movie witnessed more drop and garnered the business of 0.77 crore. With this total collection of Bhoomi after 6 days, has become 10.15 crores at domestic box office.

On the other hand, director Amit V. Masurkar’s recent offering Newton has received positive reviews from critics  but got succeed to satisfy audience. In the opening weekend, it showed decent growth and did the business of 6.90 crores with 0.96 crores of Friday, 2.52 crores of Saturday and 3.42 crores of Sunday.

In weekdays, with considerable drops it minted the amount of 1.31 crore on Monday and 1.34 crore on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Newton scored 1.18 crore and raised it’s 6 days domestic total to 10.73 crores. While, Shraddha Kapoor’s crime drama biopic failed to impress critics as well as Audience.

With negative reviews from critics, Haseena Parkar did the business of 7.52 crore in last 5 days, including 1.87 crore of Friday, 2.60 crore of Saturday, 1.63 crore of Sunday, 0.75 crore of Monday and 0.67 crore of Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, with further drop the film added 0.57 crore to it’s account and made 6 days total as 8.09 crore.
