Calendar Girls Second Day Box Office Collection
Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Calendar Girls’ released yesterday on the occasion of Bakri Eid. Due to the holiday, one of the films gained an advantage to boost its collection upto some extent. Although the other one couldn’t quite compete up to the mark. Winning ahead in the race is Kapil Sharma’s comedy flick ‘KKPK’. Calendar Girls had poor first day with collections around 2 crore nett. The film is low budget but these collections are very low considering it was a holiday. The film fared very badly all over with Mumbai circuit having the best collections. Meanwhile, another released Bhaag Johny fared much worse with very bad collections as they may not even reach 25 lakhs nett. Calendar Girls collected 2 crores on its first day and showed little growth on its second day. It collected 2.10 crores* on Saturday, thus taking its two day total to 4.10 crores* at the domestic box office. Calendar Girls performed better in the North circuits but the metros were quite low. The film received mixed reviews and hence couldn’t be a massive crowd puller at multiplexes. The Madhur Bhandarkar film needs to show a significant growth on Sunday to put up a decent first weekend collection.
Bhaag Johnny Saturday Box Office Collection
Bhaag Johnny has released with the two movies on the theatres named Calendar Girls. and Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. The movie had to face competition from Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon because the movie is starring Kapil Sharma who had earlier given big hit to the industry. Meanwhile, 2nd Day Box Office Collection of Bhaag Johnny has come up to 60 lacs* which shows the viewers interest in the movie. And also from the ongoing hit Welcome Back which is running perfectly on the theatres still now and is been loved by the people. There is a big competition for the movie and we have seen how much the movie will manage to collection in the Box Office. We hope that tomorrow being the weekend day; Bhaag Johnny does well and manages to cover good part of its cost till the end of its first weekend on the big screen.
