Nandamuri Balakrishna and filmmaker Anil Ravipudi have joined forces for the first time for a high-budget entertainer. The film is yet to be titled and is currently being referred to as NBK 108 but it seems that soon the name is about to change. The makers have revealed that they would be announcing the title as well as the first look of the film on June 8, followed by a special on Balakrishna’s birthday.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to turn a year older on June 10. A source close to the film said, “This is going to be a very special birthday for the fans of Balakrishna, as there will be many treats on offer. The film’s title and first look will be revealed on June 8, two days prior to Balakrishna’s birthday. A powerful title is locked and we need to wait for three more days to witness the first-look poster too. A bigger surprise is being planned for Balakrishna’s birthday on June 10 but we can’t reveal details right now”.
For the unversed, Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the female lead in the movie whereas popular star Sreeleela will be seen in a crucial role. Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal is making his Tollywood debut with this venture. On the Ugadi Eve, makers released two posters to unveil two different looks of Balakrishna in the movie.
As for the crew of the film, S Thaman is composing the music for NBK108, whereas C Ram Prasad is taking care of the cinematography. While Tammi Raju is the editor, Rajeevan is the production designer and V Venkat is choreographing the action sequences.
NBK108 is a pan India quintessential Telugu potboiler that is scheduled for theatrical release during the occasion of Vijayadasami aka Dussehra. It is being produced on a grand scale by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner of Shine Screens banner.
