4 Days Total Collection of Super Singh and Bank Chor
Director Bumpy’s latest venture Bank Chor has been released released this Friday at box office with limited number of 700 screens across the country. Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi starrer Hindi comic caper movie Bank Chor started it’s journey on a dull at domestic box office. Despite good promotion, it got failed to attract audience toward theaters. Also it received almost negative reviews from most of the critics.
On the opening day with overall 10% of occupancy, Bank Chor registered the low opening of 1.40 crores. On Saturday instead of showing growth, the movie faced a dip and added the amount of 1.66 crores to it’s account. On Sunday with due to india vs pakistan match slight drop, YRF’s production managed to collect the amount of 1.28 crores.
Now the movie has entered in weekdays and faced an abrupt decline in footfalls. On Monday, Bank Chor witnessed around 45% of drop than Friday and minted 0.91 crore to make it’s 4 days domestic total as 5.25 crores.
While the Punjabi movie Super Singh starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa, reported excellent performance throughout the opening weekend in India. It received amazing response from fans as well as audience and witnessed highest contribution from Punjabi and Delhi regions. On the opening day, the movie registered the 3rd highest opening of Diljit’s career so far with 1.80 crores.
With almost similar pace, Anurag Singh’s directorial minted the amount of 2.05 crores on Saturday and 1.90 crores on Sunday. After the weekend, Super Singh garnered the amount of 5.75 crores. Now Diljit starrer has entered in weekdays and faced usual drop due to normal working days.
On Monday, it faced around 45% of drop than Friday and minted the amount of 1.10 crore. With this, 4 days total collection of Bank Chor has become 6.85 crores on domestic box office. From overseas market too, it has reported quite excellent business.
