Bairavaa 8th Day Collection: Earned approx 43.65 Cr in 8 Days at Box Office

Vijay and Keerthy Suresh starrer latest action movie Bairavaa aka Bhairavaa has excellent start on box office. From critics, it has not received much positive reviews but most of them are in its favor. The movie has done the business of total 42.50 crores in its first week on Tamil Nadu Box Office. It has received mixed reviews from critics but successfully passed all the challenges on box office. With the support of audience & fans, Bairavaa got the ticket to be added in the list of 2017’s successful movies.


Till yet, it has showed impressive performance despite mixed reviews. Not only in Tamil Nadu or India but in overseas too, it has reported tremendous performance. It started the journey with terrific more than 90% of occupancy on around 500 screens across Tamil Nadu. In its first week, Bairavaa was minted the total collection of 42.50 crores that includes 35.50 crores of weekend and 7 crores of weekdays. Now the movie has entered in the second week and now have the new romantic-action movie in competition.

There is an advantage for Bairavaa because the new release is not looking enough capable to impress audience, so the only option left for moviegoers to watch is this last week released action drama. On the first day of its second week, it has recorded less occupancy than previous day and minted around 1.35 crores* as its 8th day collection. The movie is expected to take rise in its business from Friday.

With Bairavaa getting eligibility for the 30 percent tax exemption given by the state government, the distributors of Bairavaa are now expecting to reap decent profits. The Vijay-starrer has also done well in Kerala and a few centres in overseas as well. The worldwide gross collection of the film is above Rs 80 crore. Bairavaa is an action movie, written and directed by Bharathan and bankrolled by Vijaya Productions. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead in the flick, which has Jagapathi Babu in the villain’s role.
