6 Days Total Collection of Vijay’s Bairavaa
After completing opening weekend on an excellent note now superstar Vijay starrer Tamil action movie ‘Bairavaa’ is heading forward with a decent but steady performance in weekdays. Being much awaited, this Bharathan’s directorial has been released with huge pre-release hype among audience and despite mixed reviews took impressive start on box office across the state Tamil Nadu. Although some critics are not much satisfied but most of them have marked Bairavaa as good entertainer for audience and more exciting for fans.
As per reviews, Vijay and his co-star Keerthy Suresh have given delightful performances in the movie, which are truly appreciable. In Tamil Nadu, Bairavaa has released with a screen count of 425 and raked the business of 16.61 crore as its opening. The movie had collected the total collection of 35.50 crore, that includes 16.61 crore of Thursday, 6.14 crore of Friday, 6.50 crore of Saturday and 6.25 crore of Sunday. Now it is running in weekdays but still reporting decent performance.
Not only in Tamil Nadu or India but in overseas too, it is getting overwhelmed response from audience. On Monday, it faced considerable drop in its occupancy and minted the decent amount of 3.50 crore as its 5th day collection. Then on Tuesday with almost similar response it added the amount of 2.94 crore* as its 6th day collection on Tamil Nadu box office. After 6 days, total collection of Bairavaa is recorded as 41.94 crore*. It seems to cross the mark of 50 cr till this weekend from the state, if it continues with the same pace.
The worldwide distribution rights of Bairavaa were sold for over Rs 55 crore. The movie should earn over Rs 80 crore to be a profitable venture for the distributors. The future seems to be bright for the Vijay-starrer as no big film is getting released this week. The next big release is Suriya’s S3 aka Singam 3, which will hit theatres on January 26. So the Tamil movie will not have competition for the next nine days, which will be a big boon for it.
