Bairavaa 4th Day Collection: Completes First Weekend on a Good Note

The business of Vijay’s Bairavaa witnessed an upward trend on its third day (Saturday) due to the Pongal holiday. After getting a good start, the collections saw a dip on Friday. Bairavaa was released in over 500 screens in Tamil Nadu on January 12. On the opening day, the movie registered a fantastic occupancy in theatres across the state. The exhibitors and distributors ensured that special shows and early morning shows were held to cash in on the hype around the movie, and that played a major role in its success.


On the opening day, Bairavaa recorded excellent occupancy across Tamil state and did the business of 16.50 crores. WThat means that the movie has not beaten Vijay”s previous best of Rs 13.5 crore set by Theri. According to some estimates, Bairavaa minted Rs 12.45 crore on the opening day. On the next day i.e. Friday, Bharathan’s directorial faced heavy drop that normally happens at South Indian box office, and added the amount of 6.55 crores to its account.

Then on its third day, being weekend & Pongal festival, Bairavaa remained steady and minted the amount of 7 crores*, which has made its 3 days total collection as 26 crores across Tamil Nadu. Then on the last day of weekend, it reported almost similar response and added 9.05 crore* to its account. At the end of the weekend, total collection of Bairavaa across Tamil Nadu is recorded as 35.05 crore*. Being superstar Vijay starrer it has immense excitement among fans and getting favorable response from audience.

The actor has given delightful performance in the movie as always and is being praised by all the viewers. Leading lady Keerthy Suresh has also performed very well. From most of the critics also, Bairavaa has received favorable reviews. But still the response of audience was lesser than the expectations raised due to its pre-release buzz. Fan of Vijay are showing high craze towards the movie and creating great buzz about it on social media as well.
