21st Day Collection of Badrinath Ki Dulhnaia
The Shashank Khaitan directed film Badrinath Ki Dulhania starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt released on 10th March 2017. The film which is the second in the Dulhania franchise opened on a good note with positive reviews and good response from the audience. If that wasn’t all the film’s business in the domestic market witnessed a further growth over the weekend.
In the overseas markets too Badrinath Ki Dulhania has been doing rather well since its release. According to Box Office report we take a look at the worldwide box office collections of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. According to reports, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has crossed approx. Rs. 184.28 crores at the worldwide box office as of March 26, 2017. While the domestic gross collections of the film are pegged at Rs. 149.57 cr, the overseas gross collections are pegged at Rs. 34.71 crore.
In the first week, it did the total business of 73.66 crores across the country and registered second highest opening week collection record of the year so far after Airlift. This includes 43.05 crores of weekend and 30.61 crores of weekdays. In the second week too, it maintained almost good and minted the amount of 27.08 crores with 60% of drop than the first week. This includes 17.56 crores of weekend and 9.52 crores of weekdays.
After 2 weeks, total collection of Badrinath Ki Dulhania was recorded as 100.74 crores on domestic box office. Now in the third week, it has lost almost all its hold over audience due to new release Phillauri. In its third weekend, it raked the business of only 6.95 crores, that includes 1.35 crore of Friday, 2.35 crore of Saturday and 3.25 crore of Sunday. In weekdays, as expected its performance graph is touching toe.
On Monday, it faced almost 35% of drop than last Friday and did the business of 1.12 crore. With slight more drop, it raked 1.20 crore on Tuesday. On Wednesday too, it witnessed decline in its business and estimated to add around 1.10 crore to its account. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it started the day with lesser occupancy and estimated to rake the business of 1.02 crore. With this, total 3 weeks collection of Badrinath Ki Dulhania will become 112.13 crores on domestic box office.
