18 Days Collection of Badrinath Ki Dulhania

Varun Dhawan’s latest offering Badrinath Ki Dulhnaia showed outstanding performance in first 2 weeks. But now due to new buzzed release Phillauri, it has started loosing its hold over audience. Being the second installment of India’s most successful romantic-comedy franchise Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, the movie has been released with huge buzz among audience and witnessed terrific response in theaters. It has received positive reviews from critics and still it has acquired the third position among highest grossing movies of the year so far.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania performed excellently in the opening week and minted the amount of 73.66 crores across the country, including 43.05 crores of weekend and 30.61 crores of weekdays. In the second week it recorded decline of almost 60% in its business graph and raked the business of 27.08 crores, that includes 17.56 crores of weekend and 9.52 crores of weekdays. After 2 weeks, total domestic collection of BKD was calculated as 100.74 crores.

Now the movie is running in its third week and as stated above it is facing heavy competition due to new release Phillauri. On its 3rd Friday, it did the business of 1.35 crore with 35% of drop than previous day. Then on Saturday, being weekend it received slight rise in its business graph and minted the amount of 2.35 crore. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, it reported the business of 3.25 crore and made its 17 days domestic total as 107.69 crores.

Now the movie once again entered in weekdays and as expected getting lesser response than weekend. On Monday, it started the day with low occupancy and witnesses average response now. As per early report, Badrinath Ki Dulhania seems to rake near about 1.12 crore on its 18th day. With this its 18 days total will become 108.81 crores* on Indian box office.
