Badlapur 2nd Day Box Office Collection
Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Badlapur’, which garnered rave reviews from the critics, has also been appreciated by the audience and this will be reflected on the movie’s box office collections. Badlapur box office collections, the topic of conversation for the past few weeks, have opened on a positive note today with a business of Rs 7 crore. The movie, which garnered rave reviews from the critics, has also been appreciated by the audience. In fact, both the actors Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are being applauded by one and all for stellar performances in the film. Though Badlapur has opened to approximately 25-30 per cent occupancy rate across the country, reports suggest that the film will work its way steadily to a good weekend collection. The ‘A’ (adult) rated tag the film has received from the censor board will, however, surely affect collections to a certain extent. Overall, Badlapur, despite receiving good reviews will have to rely on good word of mouth, with box office collections expected to show a rise over the evening and night shows. However, unlike the Ranbir Kapoor- Jacquelin Fernandes starrer ‘Roy’, that featured a good opening day, ‘Badlapur’ is expected to gain strength as time passes. With the impending Cricket World Cup and the ongoing cash crunch continuing, the scenario at the box-office scenario is definitely bleak, but exhibitors and trade analysts are still hopeful that Badlapur will give them some respite. This year’s biggest opener is ‘Roy’ with Rs 10.40 crore, followed by Rs 9.3 crore from ‘Baby’ and Rs 7.05 crore from ‘Tevar’.
Badlapur Second Day Box Office Business or Income
Varun Dhawan starrer “Badlapur” has opened on a good note at the box office. The film, which was released in limited screens compared to other biggies, has minted approximately Rs.7 crore on opening day. “Tevar” and “Badlapur” opening day box office collection is in the same range, but the latter was released in just 1700 screens in India. “Badlapur” a crime drama directed by Sriram Raghavan also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in negative role and Yami Gautam, Huma Qureshi, Divya Dutta, Vinay Pathak and Radhika Apte in key roles. The film opened with average occupancy, but with strong word of mouth the occupancy increased from the afternoon shows onwards. The reviews and word of mouth are very strong, which will be reflected in the box office collection over the weekend. Saturday (second day) box office collection is expected to be better than Friday, but Sunday’s collection might take a toll with India vs South Africa ICC World cup match. As, per the estimates, the Badlapur Movie Collect Rs.8 Crore Approx on its Second day. Meanwhile, the low budget film has opened well in Gulf region on its first day. “Badlapur” minted AED 500,000 (Rs.84.74 lakh) from the UAE-GCC box office. “#Badlapur – UAE & GCC [revised total]: Thu AED 500,000 [Rs.84.74 lacs]. Very good!” trade analyst Adarsh added.
