“Badlapur” has lost its top position to “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” in its third week. Varun starrer on its third Monday, collected a small total of Rs.35 lakhs at the domestic box office. The first look poster of Badlapur which had Varun Dhawan in a rugged look managed to create a lot of buzz everywhere. His unusual grey avatar, a heavy imagery and an unusual subtitle seems to have worked in the favour of the film. In fact, the teaser had already made Badlapur among the most-talked about films on social media platforms. Producer Dinesh Vijan is totally overwhelmed by the response He said Badlapur doing so well at the box office is great not just for all of us attached but also for cinema . It’s the kind of film which has layers thus making it a great repeat watch I’m sure with the audience support we will have a great week 3 too.” Finally, the verdict has been ruled in their favour and Varun Dhawan has yet again proved to be a mass entertainer.
