Baby V/s Dolly Ki Doli Box Office Prediction:
After Tevar and Alone‘s average collections at the domestic box office, it seems like Baby and Dolly Ki Doli are waiting to storm the ticket windows this week. Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor’s most awaited Bollywood movie Baby is finally ready to release tomorrow. Baby was Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the movie Baby is expected to be the first film to rock the Box Office this year. The multi-starrer thriller movie Baby featuring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa, Rana Daggubati and Rasheed Naz among others happens to be the first big film of 2015. On the other side, Sonam Kapoor starrer Dolly Ki Doli will also release on the same day. Although, the movie Dolly Ki Doli appears to be a funny film and also has actors like Sonam Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao along with Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, Akshay Kumar’s Baby seems to be far more promising. As far as Box Office collection is concerned, the movie Baby is likely to be more or less unaffected by Dolly Ki Doli but the latter might get affected by Baby. Akshay Kumar’s Baby created much hype since the launch of its trailer and it being directed by Neeraj Pandey, level of expectation further arose. Trailer of Dolly Ki Doli directed by Abhishek Dogra also did not disappoint us but the film may have lacked in promotions. While, the movie Baby is likely to be the first film of the year to enter the 100 crore club, first day Box Office collection is expected to be around Rs 9-10 crores. Baby’s Box Office business should witness a hike in the weekend, considering the hype it created. On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor starrer Dolly Ki Doli’s Box Office collection is likely to witness an average start with a first day business of Rs 4-5 crores. Akshay Kumar’s Baby is most likely to suppress Sonam Kapoor’s Dolly Ki Doli at the Box Office at least till the first three days, after which word of mouth might increase or decrease both the films’ business.
What is the story of Baby?
If Holiday… was about sleeper cells, Baby revolves around the story of how the common man in India faces a threat from terrorists and how the government tries to prevent such attacks. Neeraj Pandey, who had helmed the anti-terrorism film A Wednesday! has directed the latest Akshay Kumar flick as well.
What is the story of Dolly Ki Doli?
The story of Dolly Ki Doli revolves around a conwoman who robs her grooms on the wedding night and runs away. Sonam Kapoor’s last film Khoobsurat, which also starred Fawad Khan, didn’t leave a gripping impact on the audience.
