The film collected Rs.10 lacs, taking its total collection close to Rs.94 crores and the action thriller is still running in 200-plus screens, the report said. “Baby” is estimated to do a lifetime business of Rs.94.30 crore at the domestic box office. “Roy” was responsible for the dropping figures of “Baby” in the fourth week. “Baby” is gonna put step into the fifth week today and things will get more worst for the film as Varun Dhawan’s much awaited film “Badlapur” released on screen. There will be remain less screen counts for the film, which will directly affect its business. “Baby” might settle down after the fifth weekend.

Akshay Kumar starrer Baby managed to give 2015 a good start. The action thriller was well-appreciated by the critics as well as the audiences. This Neeraj Pandey film after having an excellent first week, maintained a steady pace later and currently, the film after its fourth week, stands with a collection of 93.40 crores at the domestic box office. The film was expected to hit the 100 crore mark initially but as it started to dip, it became a difficult task. Now, Due to the release of Varun Dhawan’s “Badlapur“, Akshay starrer is struggling even more in its fifth weekend. The film collected less than Rs.10 lacs on its fifth Saturday and now stands with a total collection of Rs.93.50 crores at the domestic box office. The film was expected to hit the 100 crore mark initially but as it started to dip, it became a difficult task. Also since the film’s screen count has slashed considerably due to the new releases, it would not manage to keep up a good business at the multiplexes too. “Baby” may soon fold at major centers after this weekend and is expected to settle with a collection of approximately Rs.94 crores at the box office. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, “Baby” has an impressive star cast, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Rana Daggubati, Tapsee Pannu, Madhurima Tuli.
