Baby 3rd Weekend or Total Box Office Income
‘Baby’ box office collections had been Rs 63.82 crore in the opening week. The performance of the Akshay Kumar movie could be attributed to the dull performance of the new releases like ‘Khamoshiyan’ and ‘Hawaizaada’ and with Amitabh Bachchan-Dhanush starrer ‘Shamitabh’ starting on a low note, the action flick could just make it to the Rs 100 crore mark by the end of the third week. ‘Baby’ has already crossed the lifetime box office collections of 2014 release ‘Entertainment’, which made Rs 72.02 crore. But it remains to be seen whether the Neeraj Pandey-directed movie can mint more money than Akshay’s last year release ‘Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’ (Rs 112.45 crore). As per early trends, “Baby”, which has remained rock-steady, the film has showed decent growth once again on Sunday and is expected to gross Rs.2 crore at the Indian box office. The film is likely to drop again on Monday, but expected to rake in Rs.2.5 to Rs.3.5 crore during weekdays.
