S S Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali – the Beginning’ continued to set the bells ringing at the box office on its second Saturday and has already beaten the lifetime collection record of Rajinikanth’s ‘Endhiran’ in just ten days. The movie has grossed Rs 323 crore* at the worldwide box office in ten days. Its nett global collection stands at Rs 230 crore*. The film has shattered the lifetime collection of all South Indian movies including Shankar’s ‘Enthiran’, ‘I’ and topped the chart as the all-time highest grosser South Indian movie. Having received a fantastic response from the audience, ‘Baahubali’ had grossed Rs 255 crore at the worldwide box office in seven days. Except the first week collection record of ‘PK’, the Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer broke the all Indian and overseas records of all Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam film industries.


Baahubali Monday Collection at Box Office

S S Rajamouli’s directorial film minted around Rs 12.25 crore* from second Monday, which is its 11th day at the domestic box office. The film, after completing seven-day run, became the most preferred for the families in the second weekend too. The number of Friday was bettered by Saturday, and Sunday was 40 percent better than Saturday – which only goes on to give the indication that families and people who couldn’t catch the film in the first week came to the theatres. The film has held well again over the weekend with 60-65 percent occupancy. That means the film will collect decent numbers on 2nd week. As per day progress it has seen upward trends. Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore & Pune doing good business today where few areas like Mumbai, Delhi going with low jump. The multiplexes reports coming good with decent single screens update by the end of 2nd Monday.
