Baahubali 2 Maha Shivratri Special Poster
On the occasion of MahaShivratri, SS Rajamouli has surprised us with a brand new poster of Baahubali 2 – This one features Prabhas in all his glory, standing authoritatively on an elephant. It’s a simple yet powerful poster that speaks volumes of Prabhas’ character. For those who don’t know, Baahubali, is actually a big devotee of Shiva. There’s a scene in part 1 where he lifts the giant Shiva Linga singlehandedly and effortlessly, just for his mother. And that’s when people witness his staggering strength.
That explains why Rajamouli chose to release this powerful poster today! So far, the Baahubali 2 has released 4 posters – two character posters – one of Prabhas, one of Rana Daggubati, the third featured the lead couple of this film – Prabhas-Anushka aka Amarendra Baahubali -Devasena and now this is the latest one. It was on Jan 6th the Bahaubali 2 finally wrapped up after three and half years. It was an emotional moment for the entire cast and crew that had been part of this journey for so long. The team is currently busy in post production, 33 VFX studios across the country are work to meet the 28th April deadline.
We are just 60 days away form witnessing an magnum opus. This time, it’s going to be bigger and grander, in terms of visuals, architecture and the war sequences. And of course, we will finally know the answer to the most asked question – Why did Katappa kill Bahaubali. The film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil. There is buzz that the Kannda film chambers of Commerce wanted the movie to be dubbed in Kannada. it is yet to be seen if the Baahubali 2 tema will comply to their request.
The movie stars Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tammannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty. While the release is two months away, we have a reason to be excited as the first book of the Baahubali series will be out on March 10. The cover of this book – Rise of Sivagami was recently launched at a literature festival n the presence of Rajamouli and Rana Daggubati.
