This week’s release, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill starrer Punjabi romantic-comedy Honsla Rakh has taken a record start in the northern region especially in Punjab.
With the great opening at box office Honsla Rakh becomes the highest opening Punjabi film ever and heading towards the weekend with an upward direction.
According to the report, the movie has been able to collect 2.55 crores nett across India.
Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, Honsla Rakh is the third Punjabi movie to be released after the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was highly anticipated because of its star cast.
With the positive start and mainly positive reviews for the romantic comedy entertainer, it’s feasible that more theatres will join the fray during the weekend, boosting ticket sales.
